Soukou Mincho

Soukou Mincho is a free Mincho style Japanese font that you can download. It features strong contrast between vertical stems and horizontal arm strokes, resulting in this readable font with high impact on visual appearance. This font is designed based on the open source font Source Han Serif and was released under Flop Design.

    Where it says LINK and then the Red Box with “Font homepage and download”…that is the link button but BELOW that it shows you a bigger grey box with a highlighted line of Japanese text which is a copy of the link to look for on the page after you click on the red homepage link box.
    I do hope this makes it easier.

    AH nevermind! I just had to scroll down and select the font without the “@” (which is apparently for vertical writing) — yes both versions are available.
