Yorutegaki

Yorutegaki (夜の手書きフォント) is a free, quirky handwritten Japanese font that comes in three weights. It was handwritten by IKENIE, and it featured really strong handwriting quirkiness. The characters are varied slightly in sizes, slants and character baseline, moreover some strokes are simplified by completing supposedly few strokes into one. Such characteristics created this handwriting style with strong rhythm and flow. I can say, it is very good looking and outstanding handwriting font.
The interesting thing is, it comes with three font weights: Light, Regular and Bold. Normally handwriting font comes with either one or two weights and rarely three. Kudos to the font author for the effort. This is an excellent choice if you are looking for a strong handwriting style font with multiple weights that can pair well with serif or sans-serif font. It supports common Japanese characters with kanji support up to Education Kanji (which is about 1,000+ characters). You can download this font for free and use it on commercial projects, as long as it is within the common sense boundary.
