Omake
Omake is a free Japanese font that features a clean, refreshing and cute handwriting style typeface. It has consistent stroke width with rounded finish, the characters are carefully constructed without visible size differences from one to another, while keeping the characteristics of handwriting style. Overall, it’s a clean looking font and a highly readable handwriting style suitable for cute graphic designs. The preview image is with the thinner font weight (however it’s being labelled as Medium), the author also created the Bold version with thicker strokes, to cater for design applications that are suitable with the thicker weight.
Omake comes with the standard Japanese characters like hiragana and katakana, and it supports up to kyōiku kanji characters – kanji characters that are learned by the primary 1 to 6 students totalling 1,026 characters. Other than that, this font also supports basic latin characters too. This font is free to download and can be use on personal and commercial projects.
