Maruberry Font

Preview of Maruberry Font - a free Japanese handwriting font

Maruberry Font (まるべりぃフォント) is a roundy and slightly funky free Japanese handwriting style font for download. It was handwritten by the font author who created Sasagaki Font and Yoppa Fude Font. The character strokes are clearly made rounded. Even on the supposedly straight vertical and horizontal lines, possessed a certain degree of curvature. I wouldn’t say it’s very unreadable, but it’s definitely a little bit more challenging handwriting style to read. Moreover, there are less kerning spaces in between the characters as the characters filled the available space to the brim. As the author mentioned, this is a handwriting style with smell of bad writing habit (癖あり).

Maruberry Font packs with a ton of letters. Besides the usual hiragana and katakana, it also comes with kanji characters that covers complete JIS Level 1 and 2 kanji plus extended kanjis. Other than that, it supports Latin, Greece and Cyrillic characters. You can download this font for free and be used on commercial projects.
