KeinannPOP

Preview of KeinannPOP

KeinannPOP (けいなんポップ体) is a trendy looking Japanese free font that comes with kanji characters. It was born from modification of two open source fonts named Genei Pople (源瑛ぽっぷる) and KNBobohei (荆南波波黑). The creator of this font, Yacchan, didn’t exactly mention in detail of the font was being modified. The style of this font design is basically reminded me of the vintage pop font styles, with clean and slightly curved strokes to bring out the dynamic of the font, and soften corners to make this font easy to the eye. This font is suitable for call-outs, video and banner ads. I could imagine this font being used as the call-out subtitle displays on the variety shows, or artworks to promote sales.

KeinannPOP comes with hiragana, katakana and kanji characters supported up to 7,000 characters, pretty much equivalent to JIS Level 2 or Adobe-Japan1-3 standard. Besides that, it also suppots Greek and Cyrillic characters too. You can download this font for free and be used on commercial projects.
