Futehodo Maru Gothic
Futehodo Maru Gothic (ふてほど丸ゴシック) is a cute and extremely chubby and rounded free Japanese font. It’s thick and trying to capture your attention, but it rewarded you with a tidy and easy to read character design. This was probably one of the thickest yet best looking rounded Japanese font I have ever seen. To create this, the creator of this font also mashes in two other chubby rounded font – Pop Rum Kiwi for some of their kanji characters and hiragana plus katakana characters from modified M+ font by Jikasei Foundry.
Futehodo is an open-sourced font and can be downloaded for free and be used on commercial projects. I do not have the details on how many kanji characters it supported but should be a lot.

Bear in mind that you will need to have a Pixiv account in order to download, which is rather easy to create. Once installed, in Photoshop you will be able to select this font under the name “ふてほど丸ゴシック” (Yes, it’s displayed in Japanese).
