Charifont is a scribbly free Japanese handwriting style font available for download. It was the handwriting of the font author “Charlotte”. According to her, she created this font out of fun, as you can tell from the font design, indeed it is nonchalant, where the characters having random uneven sizes and baseline. Such randomness maximizes the nature of handwriting style font. Also, it’s a monospaced font, which means the characters are having fixed width.

Charifont comes with hiragana, katakana and supporting jōyō kanji (常用漢字 or common kanji) characters. Other than that, it supports Latin script too. It’s free to download and can be used for non-commercial and commercial use.

  • All rights belongs to the font author. Selling, modification or redistribution of this font is prohibited.
