Niiro Maru Gothic
Niiro Maru Gothic (ニーロ丸ゴシック) is a free rounded gothic typeface, released in DemiBold and Medium weights. As a rounded sans-serif, it has the soft, friendly quality typical of rounded gothic designs: rounded terminals, even stroke widths, and a shape that reads as casual and easy to look at rather than formal.
The designer built the font on the shoulders of several existing open Japanese typefaces, drawing on the Kosugi Maru Gothic, the Jikasei Rounded M+, and the SN Pro font, with additional credit to FakePearl (Chun yu Yao). The font is released with SIL Open Font License and is meant to be used freely across printed materials, images, video, fan works, games, apps, and websites, making it a flexible choice for casual and community-oriented projects.
Usage Permission

- Modification and redistribution permitted under the terms of OFL-1.1.
