KF Himaji Fude
KF Himaji Fude (ＫＦひま字ふで) is a font with a plump, brushstroke-like appearance that is free to download. It was as if each characters were written with a very wet brush, resulting this bubbly, round-ish, and watery finished. The font design gave a fun, innocent and cheery mood.
KF Himaji Fude supports basic Latin and Japanese characters, plus about 140 kanji characters only with focused on new year greetings kanji and primary school year-1 kanji. It is a fun font and is suitable to be used in artistic graphic designs that sends positive vibes. This font is free and can be used in personal and commercial projects.
Usage Permission
- Free for personal, non-commercial and commercial use.
- Permitted use:
- Promotional materials: flyers, posters, in-store pop displays, price cards, banners, signage, etc.
- Logos for products, organizations, etc. (Note: logos subject to trademark/design registration are prohibited)
- Printed materials: books, magazines, newsletters, educational materials, etc.
- Video subtitles: TV programs, commercials, video streaming sites, etc.
- Website and blog titles, headings, etc.
- LINE stickers: the font may be used as text accompanying illustrations (text-dominant stickers and LINE emoji are not permitted; “Himaji Illustration” may not be used)
- Modifying, unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, selling, or uploading the font data to the internet is prohibited.
- Distributing or selling products with embedded font data is prohibited (e.g., smartphone apps, PDF products, etc.).
- Regarding items 1 and 2, converting the font to a web font without permission is also prohibited. (Note: already-released products and apps that have been granted permission may continue to use the font.)
- Distributing or selling text-dominant creations made using the font is prohibited. This includes:
- Printed or web materials where text is the main design element
- Merchandise such as T-shirts where text is the main design element
- Cutting sheets, stamps, etc. where text is the main design element
- LINE stickers or LINE emoji that are text-dominant or text-only
- Use is not permitted if trademark registration, design registration, or similar rights would be generated.
