As Winter Comes (立冬のころに) is a light weighted free handwriting style Japanese font. It was created with an online tool called Write My Font. I would say this is a more scribbly handwriting style font, the strokes aren’t smooth and there are plenty of quirks. Despite all that, I think this font is still very readable and demonstrated well the generic handwriting style that are not cute, unique or tidy. But I must say that I really like the name of the font! It is super romantic and poetic.

As Winter Comes comes with the usual Japanese characters, and supports up to JIS Level 2 kanji characters. Therefore it should be able to cover all the commonly used Japanese characters. You may download this font for free and be used on personal and commercial projects.

Bear in mind that you will need to have a Pixiv account in order to download, which is rather easy to create.
